So they can get better overall performance for their customers with a hardware setup prioritized for download speeds, and lesser upload speeds.

 

Note that a lot of business network services are where you’d see download and upload speeds being the same, since larger businesses are more likely to utilize the upload speeds.

my question is, why doesnt the down speed spike anymore like it did before (like the spike on theupload) 

 

it goes steadily up while the upload speed JUMPS to max speed
