Icue K70 keyboard cpu temp gradient?

Go to solution Solved by ThousandBlade,

you would need to set up temp read out on multiple keys to achieve that.

example:

F5: 49 white, 50 green, 59 white

F6: 59 white, 60 yelowish green, 69 white

F7: 69 white, 70 yellow, 79 white

F8: 79 white, 80 orange, 89 white

F9: 89 white, 90 red, 99 white

it should work like you expect, only one key colored with temp at the same time, and will progress down the keys changing color. other keys will be white.
if you wanna a color bar for the Fkeys, use color last color of each key aswell.

Gradient and scale will be decided by what temp and color you choose.

You could save it to a different profile and switch profile to check temps

I just dont see a easy way to do this.

Ok so what I'd like to do is very simple yet iCue makes it stupid.

As of now I have my home keys (insert, home, pageup/dwn,del,end) as my cpu temp "monitor".  That is, 55 green, 65 yellow, and 75 red.  System is watercooled.

None the less, id like to have a little more accurate "readout".  Instead I'd like to use my F-keys, or even ESC-BRK as a temperature thermometer of sorts.  Say im at 65c on my cpu, id like it to go up to F6, leaving the remaining keys white (who cares).  say it goes up to 70c, then it goes to F7, 80, F8 and so on.  Whatever I can work out the scale later.  Naturally id like a color gradient too, that is 65 being green and progressing to red (and further down the F keys) should my CPU get that hot.

Has anybody been able to achieve this?  I been googling around and best I found was what i have already done.  Nothing along the lines of a "thermometer" of sorts spanning across a dozen keys.

Thanks a bunch peeps!

Yeah I figured I’d have to setup all the keys and settings manually. Figured theyre would be an easier way but oh well.

At least it’s a good starting point (thank you) so I’ll tinker around and get it going

appreciate it
