I see your point.

But this part gave me the bad idea:

Like it says. It's also dependend on your system. That is why, in the first post, I also talked about the TDP of your CPU. Some CPU's use a lot of as well and in that case, getting a bigger one might be required. You could always exchange the PSU if you want to be certain. Having more power isn't going to hurt. It's just a bit of a waste for the short term.

Long term you might need the extra power if you want to upgrade, so getting a 850 isn't bad. I just don't think it's necesary.

you should be fine here is a list in case you want a better upgrade path incase that you feel this is not enough https://cultists.network/140/psu-tier-list/

I hit 700W on an i5 with a NHD15

Also I'm 14 so please just confirm anything I say with someone more experienced

That GPU has a TDP of 265 watt. The CPU has a TDP of 95 watt.  A 750 Watt PSU should be able to handle these specifications perfectly fine.

I mean a new PSU, instead of the DeepCool pk750d 750w.

U sure about the 265 watt? I'm not tying to play smart, i'm just worried.

On this site there is defferent info:

https://cpu-compare.com/gpu/sapphire_nitro_radeon_rx_vega_64

  • TDP
    295 W
  • TDP (up)
    375 W

Hmm, as far as I saw it had at TDP of 265 Watt. But even with the figures you mention it isn't a problem. The 375 should be the peak performance. Basically you need a bit of headroom for when things get a bit above TDP. That's why AMD recommends a 600Watt PSU for that GPU (the reference board). So you going for 750 is the safe bet and should mean you never run into any issues.

I see your point.
