Building First PC

Hello Everyone !
Before you start reading this I would like to thank you in advance for helping my ignorant self build a PC.

Budget (including currency): 2000€ ± 200€

Country: France

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: World Of Warcraft, Risk Of Rain 2, Tiny Tina Wonderlands, Streaming/Recording, Programming Machine Learning Mostly.

Other details: Building my first PC currently using Omen Laptop with GTX 1070 and i7-8750H. I can finally build a Desktop PC, Ideally it should be able de run 1080p on 144HZ screen with constant FPS for the foreseeable future. I could dable in some 1440p gaming but I more concerned about have a long lasting PC.

I was thinking of something like this:

https://fr.pcpartpicker.com/list/QQMYMb

For GPU I've been wanting to go team red for a while but Nvidia is still amazing for Machine Learning applications ... Still i've be hesitating between RX 7900 XT, RX 6950 XT or RTX 4070 (Recently on discount at <600€)

For CPU i'm kinda clueless since I know it can bottle neck the GPU performance but I don't have a horse in intel vs AMD battle
Important Note: I attache no importance to the appearance of the PC

PS: I've read on some blogs that AMD is more expensive in France than other countries so if anyone has some info on that I'm curious.

Thank for you time.

+1, but I would probs suggest a bigger case like the h7 flow since I have the 4000d and you CAN fit a 340mm long gpu but its really cutting it with a fan at the front. With the h7 flow you've got loads of space

Message me on discord (bread8669) for more help

DRAM doesnt even make a big difference the NV2 is fine for gamers or anyone who doesn't use there PC as a file server

i mean its the ops choice. i have the ssd and it is fine but having used systems with better ones it might be worth spending a little more which is not much considering the total build cost

If you really want to do ML, then AMD is not an option whatsoever, so you need to pick your poison.

Hey thanks for the advice but from the chart you gave above it seems that 7900XT performs alot better than the 4070 for a similar price.

Would a build like this with Intel be good ?
