Hey guys,

I need to replace my s***** headphones to use on my PC mostly for gaming (apex + discord) and I also play quite frequently FPS and other single player games. Music would be a plus but won't be doing it very often tbh.
I am kinda divided between the Astro A40 TR + Mixamp Pro TR vs Beyerdynamic TYGR 300R + FOX professional USB.

I would prefer to just get either of these options without the extras (mixamp or the fox usb bundle) but I seem to understand that both extras are also amp/dac's?
So will I need them to drive either the Astro A40 or the Tygr 300 R?

If I don't necessarily need them... are they worth getting?

I am actually leaning to the astro A40 just so I don't have another thing on my desk (fox mic).

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Budget let's say 239€ which is the price i can get the A40+mixamp.

Thanks guys.

I can get those for 159,00 €.
But I can get both the TGYR  300 R and the Astro A40 (no mic & no mixamp) for 149€.
In case of the Beyerdynamic I really gonna have to spend some extra money on a mic.

Do you think I will need any dac/amp for the G635?
