Gpu choice

RX 580 OR GTX 1060?
Which one should i pick, the rx 580 is about 50% the price of the gtx 1060 Right now

Assuming this is for 1080p 60fps gaming, what is your budget and where are you from? Who knows, for your budget you might be able to get a newer card, these two are already half a decade old with all the problems that half-decade old GPUs may have.

I'm from romania, the gpu market here is kind of in shambles, these are my best choices right now for the budget i have (to put in perspective, a GTX 1080 is like 1100 LEI , a gtx 1060 is 400 lei, and a rx 580 is 200 lei)

In that case, if these two are the only choices that you can afford, get the RX580. It's slightly more powerful than the 1060, for half of the price. Do ask the seller about benchmarks, stress tests, gaming and mining done on the card before you buy though, the RX580 was a popular crypto mining card.
