Is there an os like android tv for pc/laptop?

I like to make a streaming machine but i dont wanna put windows on it because it slows the system down.

This is not sollution. x86 android is better. Kodi is limited. not friendly application as every linux app

x86 android runs basically no apps. The android x86 project is also running a old version of android 10 too.

 

And besides all that there are so many better options out there.

 

Kodi is also not limited because it's a whole media center and if the user needs to access something else they have firefox right there available to them.

ChromeOS Flex is probably the closest you will get.
