ryzen 7600 gpu equivilant

i am going to build myself a new pc, and to be able to build it faster i am delaying the dgpu. i just wanted to know the gpu equivilant to the 7600's igpu

why do you want such a low performance GPU?

i just need a stronger computer so i will build it without a dgpu and then add on one once i have saved up some more money

get something like 6400 its about as cheap as you can go for a modern GPU

It's roughly equivalent in performance to a GT 1030 DDR4 edition. If you want to use the iGPU for anything but the lowest end of games, you're better off going for the R5 5600G or R7 5700G, they're about double the performance.

I didn't realize AMD crippled newer iGPU implementations. Are the older 5000 series still the best ones to date?

Yeah, the 5700G is still the best iGPU on desktop. On mobile they are still putting pretty good iGPUs on their chips, and I'm pretty sure the 7840 series of chips has the best iGPUs out now, but I don't follow the laptop scene that closely so don't quote me on that.

 

This is also why they're calling their desktop CPUs just CPUs now and not APUs, because the iGPU is designed to give a display out, handle YouTube, and that's about it. As far as I know, they are still planning a series of APUs for their business customers that might make it to the PC enthusiast market as well, and those should have the best iGPU on desktop.

Its not great as people mentioned. If you wanted the best and cheapest dGPU available, Intel Arc A380's are generally more powerful than any low end nvidia or radeon cards, is cheaper, has more VRAM, and has a dedicated encoder (which usually isn't there on low end cards). Usually cards in this price range are practically worthless e-waste only useful as a display output, but this card is definitely an exception.

Got mine yesterday and its a nice chip. Its mostly there for the encoder and video outputs, but its hard to beat for $120. Does require an 8 pin even though its only a 75W card (I tested this). Keep in mind a lot of the benchmarks you may see that are older than a month from today aren't accurate since they massively increased older API performance with a recent driver update.
