Hello, this isn't an immediate tech problem, just curious.

You see when my pc loses power such as in a power outage, it goes to the safe boot menu, where you have to F1 or F2 to BIOS or continue. When I go to BIOS the boot order is reset for some reason and I have to set it back twice before it boots, but my CMOS is working because the time is up to date. However, when I press continue it boots up just fine.

Why does the load order show reset if its actually fine?
