Here's a question for everyone: if you're testing internal components (and externalized loops), do you agree that it would be better to test in a hotter case than say an airflow? If you disagree, please explain why.

Obviously, the ideal is to test in multiple types of cases from iTX to full tower, death valley case to full mesh, but most reviewers can't do that unless they are rich.

I've been using computers since around 1978, started learning programming in 1980 on Apple IIs, started learning about hardware in 1990, ran a BBS from 1990-95, built my first Windows PC around 2000, taught myself malware removal starting in 2005 (also learned on Bleeping Computer), learned web dev starting in 2017, and I think I can fill a thimble with all that knowledge. 😉 I'm not an expert, which is why I keep investigating the answers that others give to try and improve my knowledge, so feel free to double-check the advice I give.

My phone's auto-correct is named Otto Rong.🤪😂

It's better to test in a hotter case because insufficient air movement can cause stagnant air which can get hot from the internal components and raise the overall temperature inside the case.

Have you tried turning it off and on again? Maybe Restart it?

Yes, to test the worse case scenario but maybe also take an average with a decent mesh case like the lancool 216 just to see how it performs like that

But why? Lol! I was thinking of them as I wrote that message.

I do wonder, though, why they don't use that very expensive fan tester.

alot of his stuff is in the background. we dont no. all he says is hes working on it. also said it might be behind a paywall?

he also posted the video of were the fan tester came from and what they can test witch seems like w/e  gn dose wont be as good as what they can test? but will they do the testing? he did say the public can use it... w/e that means. its posable there other things going on but who knows. he dose seem a bit odd at times... like buying up dev kits... 🤷‍♂️ could just be new content maybe? too.

or its just making slow content to sell merch to pay for it🤷‍♂️ no idea
