Which card is better for vr

Big monke42069

I am saving up to purchase my first desktop and have been researching the gtx 1660s and the rtx 3050’s performance in vr I know these cards aren’t the best, but which of the 2 are better?

Whatever the usage I won't ever recommend a 3050, it's overpriced garbage

An used 2060 or even better 2070 will cost less and fare better

get an rx 6600 xt or the 3050. The 1660 super isn't that optimized for vr

Was hesitant to recommend an AMD card, read they were bad for VR and never used one for that yet, where's the truth?☺️

I know it’s not the best but I am getting a prebuilt and not building one my self. I know it’s cheaper. But it’s gonna have to work and I don’t trust my self rn.

Really building a PC is pretty simple, I managed it with my only eye and my 2 left hands 😂

Even on prebuilt market you should be able to find a PC with a 6600 or 6600xt for a similar price

I googled a bit and it seems that since RDNA2 AMD cards do correctly in VR, with 6650xt and 6700xt  outclassing 3060 and 3060ti
