11400f vs 5600g vs 12400f

whitch is better whit gpu and for gaming 

              12400f

cpu : i5 11400f  vs  cpu : r5 5600g

mbo : b560m       mbo : b550

       

        for both configurations

                  gpu 1070ti 

   ram : 2x16gb 3200mhz ddr4

12400f will be the best out of all of them, but with a GPU like that it wont be affected all that much.

If the R5 5600 was an option versus the 5600g, I'd say R5 5600. Given the choices, 12400f then. 

 

At least a budget B550 board could support a drop in 5800x3D versus a budget b560m board which would kill itself trying to power a 13900k or maybe even a 13600k.

between r5 5600g (b550) and i5 12400f (b660m) which one is better for gaming

5600g with a dGPU isn't great for gaming, it has less cache than the 5600 because of the iGPU. 5600g isn't really designed to be used with a discrete graphics card.

 

12400f if you're not planning on a drop in CPU upgrade.

Id pick either a 5500 or 5600 (if price delta is <20$ 5600), both clocked to 4.7-4.8ghz allcore will beat a 12400f since that thing only does a pitifull 4ghz allcore. Sure ipc is worse on zen3 but ipc isnt enough to beat an extra 700-800mhz clockspeed advantage here

 

As for the reduced cache on the 5500/5600g buy some proper used rams (hma42gu6afr8n) and lazy overclock to 4000-4400, dual rank and clockspeed should alleviate the cache deficit, and on the normal 5600 youll only be able to clock to 3800-4000 but .1 and 1% lows will be alot better

without OC stock r5 5600g vs 12400f.

and for the OC cpu I need very good cooling so that it does not overheat and a good power supply

Don't get 5600G. As stated earlier, half the cache, plus only PCIE3.

You really dont know how ocing works do you?

 

Stock cooler is crap, even a 4 heatpipe like the se 214 xt will be fine for an overclocked 5600/5500

 

But for non oc the 12400f when compared to these 2 cause stock clocks are trash

You never wanna answer other people question on why 5600G is in contention instead of 5600? 12400F is fused, it doesnt have an integrated graphics card inside of the CPU in case youre wondering.

 

Itll be the best out of the 2 but adjust to the value proposition and pricing. Will the cost increase between the 12400F worth it compared to the generally cheaper 5600?

12400f its 21e more then 5600g

 

i know 12400f dont have a gpu i have a 1070ti and I plan to take a stronger 3060 or even stronger than that
