Windows icons not showing, task manager opens and closes immediately, search function does not work.

Do these symptoms point towards any causes? Restarting explorer.exe does not fix this and neither does a restart.

Can you create a new profile and try to log in with that?

I did that, I signed in with it but the icons are still missing.

Icons are not loading across the board.

 

Please somebody help me!

What about in Safe Mode?
