Hi I'd like to find people that have run into issues with upgrading there cpu(with this motherboard). Whether it is from a rrzen 3 to a 5 or 3 to a 7. After running into the issue my self I've found countless threads that go unsolved but msi still list the ryzen 5/7 as compatible after a bios update. I'm at a loss and its annoying having a cpu in a box on my desk that should theoretically work.

So...update the BIOS and try it?

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

I have, I've tried. Several times and I'm curious now as to whether problem is after upgrading the cpu. As if I can find a large enough sample of people that have this unsolved issue then surely msi will do something right?

What pocessor are you not having success with? and what proc are you able to use in it?

have u tried everything:

reflashing bios

1 stick of ram tried in alternate slots

removing cmos battery unplug power cable press start button a few times (hold down for 10 seconds as well)

Have you checked the pins on the chip, try it installed without the cooler being screwed down to tight

is your ram compatible with the new processor, it might be compatible with your board... but?!
