Is Denuvo malware?

Hey Peeeps just wanna know what the thoughts are on Denuvo a game i wanna buy has it and some of the reviews ive read and watched bring it up

It's not malware, it's anti-piracy technology. People generally don't like it, because it can negatively affect performance.

Obviously it's not malware in the same way that wannacry is malware... people sometimes call it malware because of its invasive behavior and the fact that ultimately it only has downsides for you, the customer. It's software you don't want which has negative effects on your system's performance, so in a way it fits the definition for malware. With that said if you want to play a game that has it there's no need to worry about anything specific; it's just a pointless hindrance to the game.
