Hello, I've been having an issue with my computer for awhile. I built my pc in Jan 2019 and a couple months ago it started it started freezing on the lock screen. It never freezes when I'm using it but when I lock my pc and come back, every once in awhile, it'll be completely frozen but with the monitor still on. It'll show the clock on the wrong time and I can't use my mouse or keyboard or anything unless I hard reset my pc with the power button. I've left some details about my pc specs below. Thanks for any advice.

PC Specs:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 1200

Mainboard: MSI Gaming B350 Tomahawk

RAM: 3x 4GB Corsair Vengeance 2400MHz

GPU: EVGA GTX 1050ti SC Gaming 4GB

PSU: Corsair CX 450 Watt 80+ Bronze

Storage: 250 GB Samsung 970 EVO M.2, 2x 1 TB Samsung 860 EVO 2.5 SSD, 4TB Seagate HDD and 8TB Seagate HDD

If your configuration didn't change since 2019, then it could be a hardware issue, but also a software issue. If you can, reinstall windows, especially if you haven't done this since 2019 or 21 as shown in the log.

You need a USB stick with min 8gb of storage

I had this issue recently and it was bad RAM. Could also be PSU related.

No, my pc is set to never sleep since I run a plex server off it and I just use window key + L to lock the pc. I come back to the lock screen showing the time when the PC presumably froze

This is what I found in the BIOS but I have no idea if I ever changed any of these settings

99.9% sure you haven't undervolted when you say you don't know if you ever changed any of these settings.

I guess I would check and see if any newer BIOS updates is available.

So I took the time to check and I am on the latest stable version of the BIOS

Alright, that's good, though I have no other suggestions from here. Could be anything really. Oh well, you have made sure to have all drivers installed and all firmwares updated?

swap out the ram for a new kit with 2 sticks instead of 3 -- its either that or possibly psu/motherboard.

problem is you didn't really give a lot of info (except the dodgy ram configuration) so really all you can do is basic troubleshooting which means changing out some parts imo

take out one of the ram sticks, some systems dislike odd numbers of installed ram.
