S22+ custom alert sounds

Hey guys, at some point I was able to get custom app alerts working, but now for some reason I cannot for the life of me get them to show up. I do "add ringtone" select the file, and then hit done, and it shows up there and in the "ringtones" folder, but not as a selectable ringtone. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

 

Following the directions directly from the Samsung instructions page.

First one is what it looked like before, and the second is what shows up now, no tab for custom.
