CPU underperforming

I have had this pc for like a year now and most things worked fine, however, lately i tried some somewhat cpu intensive stuff and my cpu just wasnt performing the way it should. when I did a benchmark, the results were very bad, just have a look I guess.

I am currently not overclocking the thing, but i dont think it should be this slow even while not overclocking, and tbh, i have no clue how to overclock if that's actaully is the problem. Anyone cares to help me out? Thanks in advance.

What are the temperatures like?

around 40 in idle and like 60 in cpu intensive games

userbenchmark is a terrible metric to use for this.

 

try something like cinebench and compare your results to what you find online.

I am trying to play modded minecraft, some heavy modpacks are pretty cpu intensive, but it should still be an easy job for this cpu, but currently i dont get above 120 fps with drops to around 30 fps, other people with similar pc's don' t have this issue

What games are you trying to run ? 

What you have is a low end six core that can't be overclock. Games like bf 2042 already struggle with the 8 core 16 threads.

Don't listen to user bench like others have said. Try firestrike and cinabench

ok so the score is at around 5k for multi core for me, while it should be around 11k

Do you know this for certain with these other people ? My kid plays mind craft on my machine it drops all the time on mine craft. Could be mine craft. What you can do is run some firestrike and compare where your system is running with others so you can t at least say your system is running as expected. 

minecraft can be very unstable at times, but not this much, I also use some optimization mods that should make sure my game would run fine so i am pretty sure its my cpu
