Under performance I think

For awhile i think my pc has been under preforming in the gaming side of things at first I thought it was settings but I tried a bunch of stuff and still what I think underperforming is with my specs, This being a EVGA Nvidia 3070 Ryzen 7 3700x and 32 gigs of ddr4 ram . I thought it was bottle necking with the Ryzen 7 3700x soo i upgraded to a Ryzen 7 5800x but am still under preforming I thing any help or advice is appreciated.

did you update your bios to the latest version?

you could try DDU and re-installing drivers, too.

windows reinstall would probably cure it if those don't work.

In what game? And what FPS you getting?
