if ur gonna suggest i change the motherboard i like the io the strix one has, i like strix aesthetic, and idc that i could prob find an nvme 4tb drive for bulk storage with a cheaper motherboard.

you dont need an aio for anything but i9 cpus or heavy oc jobs just get an nh-d15 or peerless assassin

You can actually just ge the 7900xt now if you trim some of the fat off of this.  I promise motherboard aesthetic means very little, as you can't even really see it when stuff is installed.  If you really need a million USB ports, a hub is like $20 vs paying an extra $170 for a motherboard with more.

EDIT:  I jsut saw you are building in 3 months.  This information is all useless, as prices change every day so an optimal build now won't be the same then.

I edit the shit out of my posts.  Refresh before you respond.

im going ryzen because i feel like i will be upgrading and i dont like how intel swaps sockets every generation but amd will be keeping am5 for a whileso yeah. also im getting my friend's 3060 ti regardless so may as well wait for 7900xtx or xt to get very cheaper

I good CPU should last like 5-7 years.  The only reason anyone was able to upgrade on an AM4 board was because zen 1 wasn't very fast for its time.  If AMD would have been competitive with intel in 2017, no one would really have thought to upgrade to zen 3 if they already had something as fast as covfefe lake.  AM4 also lasted an abnormally long time, and it was difficult for AMD to do this.  I would not make a purchasing decision now with the expectation of replacing it in the near future.  You should expect to buy a new motherboard with a new CPU if you actually keep it long enough and upgrade when it's actually time to upgrade.
