Windows 11 Pro Crashes only when playing games

I am at a loss. The problem I am running into is when I play a game Example COD MW2 (2022), GTA San Andreas Definitive Collection, Portal RTX, and Stray. Sometimes the game will load to the main menu and I can play for a second and then the computer does not blue screen but locks up and then restarts. According to Windows, the last thing it detects is normal activity, and then Kernal just shows power up not DMP files created. I have used the tool WhoCrashed and it analyzed and found nothing.

 

All stress tests pass. Prime95 with all options, Furmark, 3D Mark with RTX, and non-RTX tests. Running all of them at the same time to 100% my system.

Things I have done to try and fix the problem:

I have reinstalled Windows, I have sent my GPU to warranty services (Gigabyte said there were no problems), I have tried installing old graphics drivers, defaulted BIOS, and Swapped GPUs (I run an RTX 3080 and I swapped in my old 1070 runs without a problem), reseated all components and wires. I believe that is all I have tried.

When it blue screens, does it give you any kind of error code or text?

Not sure if this would be your solution, but in the past I have had issues with blue screens that seemed to be the result of some kind of issue with my ram, with the problems going away after RMA'ing it or buying different ram.

If you have XMP enabled try disabling to see if it helps.

I use an AMD 5900x and a 3080 with XMP enabled I often have games crash. With it turned off everything is running perfectly for me.

Also you could open event viewer and have a look at the log files. 

the files should indicate when you have an issue and sometimes it lists the cause without being too cryptic.

the files are timestamped also so you can check the logs then start a game make note of the time then when it dumps you on the desktop oen the event viewer again to see if anything is listed as a possible cause.
