The CPU won't be a bottleneck, especially at 1440p or higher resolution.

You should upgrade to 16GB of Ram, the recommended for Day Z is 12GB.

Ryzen 5 2600X / ASRock Fatal1ty B450 Gaming K4 / G.Skill RIPJAWS V 16GB (2X8) 3000Mhz CL15 / Gigabyte RTX 2060 Super Gaming 8GB OC / Corsair RM650X 2018 / Crucial BX500 240GB / Seagate Barracauda 2TB 7200RPM Cooler Master MasterBox E500L /  ASUS TUF Gaming VG27WQ // Rog Orion / Corsair Harpoon RGB Pro / Cooler Master MasterKeys Lite L / Xbox One Red Sport  Special Edition Controller for Windows

very well could be the ram. And not the CPU. If you really think that it is the CPU you could attempt overclocking it and see if it helps.

I hit 700W on an i5 with a NHD15

Also I'm 14 so please just confirm anything I say with someone more experienced

Just because it can bottleneck a little at 1080p, you'll still have better performance at 1080p than at a higher resolution. Bottleneck doesn't necessarily mean worse performance.

What you need is more Ram, 8GB is short these days.

You have a good CPU for gaming. It's not worth changing to a 5600x, for example. The i5 8500 is better in most games.

u mean a r5 5600x i agree no need to upgrade anything but ram but the ryzen 5 5600x is a far superior prosessor.

The i5 8500 gives more FPS in most games. The t5 5600x is superior for multitasking, editing and so on. Overall the 5600x can be considered a better value, but never far superior.

And that means nothing if it doesn't translate to more fps in games.

Maybe they got it reversed...

That's the release date of the CPU, not the date they tested it.
