Sound Blaster Cinema ?

Hey guys, so I downloaded a couple of weeks ago that software, I thought it worked but today I tried it with a movie that was playing on the background. I simply putted every settings max, sounded not different at all, so I deactivated the whole thing, sound was still the same.
I do think I'm not hearing a single difference and that it's not normal, what is the problem here ?

Most audio software like that are gimmicks. 

My personal rig - 4790k 4.8Ghz, Asus Z97 Pro (wi-fi ac), Corsair Dominator Plat 4x8GB, SLI GTX 1080 TI FE, Samsung 850 Evo 1TB, Crucial MX100 512GB, EVGA G3 1000W, and cooled by a hardline liquid cooling loop.

idk ive seen many reviews of people saying it was really nice, meaning that they can still hear a difference, I mean I hear absolutely nothing changing when I'm putting bass boost to the max, that must not be normal.

You probably didn't have it setup correctly, or it wasn't working right on your computer. I'm not sure what this software is or does, but if it's just an EQ you can get plenty of other software that does it quite well.
