Hello,

I recently bought a Team Group 32 GB DDR4-3600 kit, everything seemed fine till i started checking the frequency which at base it's 1200 MHz and with XMP enabled it goes up to only 1800.

I read that RAM doesn't always influence your game performance however i do expierence an occasional fps drop in rpg games.

My motherboard is AORUS B550 PRO AC.

I'm guessing you're checking in something like CPU-Z or HWInfo? RAM is double data rate, so the data rate (the number you see advertised) is double the actual memory clock. 1800MHz translates to DDR4 3600.

Well that's something i didn't know until now, thank you for explaining.

So i guess the fps drop problem lies somewhere else.

Anyways thx for helping.
