Laptop RAM Upgrade

So I want to upgrade my laptop's ram from 8GB to either 32GB or 64GB; however, I'm not sure whether to go with a single 32/64 stick, or two sticks that total to 32/64 GB. Would I see any performance losses or gains from either option? What would be recommended? Thanks!

If the laptop supports dual channel ram just go for the two sticks rather than one as the board is able to use two sticks and yes better performance

Ah, this is true. I have a Lenovo Legion 15ARH05. RAM capacity is up to 64GB but I'm not sure if I want to go that high. Other specs include GTX 1650 Ti, Ryzen 5 4600H, 8GB of RAM, 1 TB of D: storage.

Ok got it it supports dual channel i mean it has dual channel. So just go for two sticks for 16 GB each. It is enough if you don't want to go for 64gb.

How noticeable is the performance difference, do you think?

Like 10-18 fps in avg also buy ddr4 3200mhz with latency 16 - 18 - 18 - 38 or any latency is also fine. Main is the 3200mhz.

Dual 16 gig 3200mhz sticks should be plenty.
