I just recently got the new AMD drivers, I thought they would end the BOSD spree that kept happening almost once a week but no, it's not helping.
Ive had BSOD 99% of the time while watching a video on youtube or vimeo on fullscreen. Iv'e had also one happening just at startup a couple of seconds after I arrive on the deskop.
Any idea guys ? It keeps saying check your memory, check bios update blablabla

Ive done the memory check 5 times, and got every last driver I can get.

Also when I open Live Update 5, it says there is a MB BIOS update for MS-7816 from 1.50 to 1.60.
Is that a BIOS flashing ? I'm not familiar with BIOS update (if that is an BIOS update I might be wrong). I heard that flashing can be painful.
Idk, can you help me here ?

Thanks guys.

run a virus scan and download malwarebytes and run a scan. Malware and adware can cause drivers to be corrupt which cause BSoD's

It's the R9 290 that crashes on Flash videos.

You can disable hardware acceleration (which makes the vids look a bit worse), or switch to Chrome which uses it's own (HTML5) player.

Dropping the OCed clocks to something like 1000/1200 for desktop use might also help.

CPU: Intel i7 3970X @ 4.7 GHz  (custom loop)   RAM: Kingston 1866 MHz 32GB DDR3   GPU(s): 2x Gigabyte R9 290OC (custom loop)   Motherboard: Asus P9X79

Are you saying this regarding the screenshot or because you heard that happened before ?

The OC came with the card btw so I didnt change anything on it. Also I don't believe that I enabled hardware acceleration.

I said that because I have two R9 290... That screenshot doesn't really show anything.

I think HW acceleration is enabled by default with Flash, try right clicking the video and go to the Flash settings.

I know the OC came with the card, that's why I know it's OCed ;)

I think @Tam3n is right, I had issues with flash videos before, too. That's why I stopped using firefox, it kept crashing the cpu while watching youtube. With chrome I never had any issue of this kind.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

If its happening with large data transfers (videos, network backups etc), take a quick look at updating the wireless/network card drivers. It was BSOD me, not with YouTube, but with backups. And it is a link in your chain by your description of when it crashes.

:edit nvm, learned to read and understand English after posting.
