My ethernet on my pc just suddenly stopped working when I turned on my pc today. I’ve tried all the suggested troubleshooting by windows, even tried a different cable but nothing seems to work. My modem works fine. Where can i see if the ethernet port is detected by the system? Anybody have an idea what could be the problem?

Go to device manager by searching it up in the search, then go onto network adapters and see if it’s detected

Regarding the second question, check if it’s detected first in device manager

I see this on device manager so I’m assuming it’s detected? What could be the problem?image.thumb.jpg.0fa033c0f64ef8321fa6abe1dccce123.jpg
