Games crashing when Opera GX is open.

Most games crash when Opera GX is open. It also happens with Chrome. There is no crashing when when no browser is open. I tried reinstalling Opera, updating the GPU drivers, restarting the pc and even reinstalling the games. It worked just fine until a few days ago. Nothing happened, it just started crashing. The pc specs are: i5-8400, gtx 1050ti and 16 gb ram.

With Opera GX, you can also limit the resources that are used in the browser as well.

Just as a troubleshooting step, try disabling hardware acceleration in Opera/Chrome and see what that does.
