New PC doesn't boot!

Just build a PC with a R5 5600 and a B550M DS3H mobo.

When I boot the pc I get this:

Do I need a BIOS update for the R5 5600? I don't know which version is currently installed but the website says it needs at least version F14 for R5 5600 support. It is something else?

Its booting alright, you now need to install windows (or an operating system of your choice).

Do you have a usb thats atleast 16gb nearby?

This could mean that you need to update the BIOS. Sadly, your motherboard does not have BIOS flashback, so you'd need a 3000 series (non-G) CPU for that.

Have you already tried booting using the minimum possible configuration: so CPU, one stick of RAM, and GPU - nothing else plugged in?

Yeah. I also tried removing the NVME, then putting the RAM to the other slots, then removing one RAM stick and also removing the keyboard, mouse. Nothing

If its like this its prob a much older bios version and youll need to get a cheap cpu (from either a friend) or used to use to update the bios.

So the problem is most likely the BIOS?

Its unethical but if you want get a cheap cpu from a retailer and then return it. it will need to be a 3000 series amd cpu.

If you can still return your mobo get a slightly newer one such as a x570 which are natively compatible.

You need to read it on the motherboard itself.

It's kinda expensive. Btw, if the BIOS doesn't support the CPU wouldn't the PC boot at all? Like how it's possible that it boots without recognizing the CPU?

thats why im confused, regardless its a motherboard issue and you should get it dealt with. Easiest way is to return it.

Unless you wanna do some board repair (but your not adamant IT)

Wait. So if the bios doesn't support the cpu it shouldn't boot at all pr both cases can happen? Wouldn't that mean it's not a bios update issue?
