Ok so I have a Zotac H87wifi and it is serving me very well. I'm planning to get my CPU upgraded from the i3 4130 to the Xeon E3 1230v3 but no where on the Internet could any conclusive info on the compatibility or incompatibility of the CPU to the mobo. Heck even Zotac haven't tested the CPU on the board and I've asked them directly. So anyone of you know anything conclusive because as far as I know many H87 board can be use with the Xeon.

System Spec: H87 mobo from Zotac, I3 4130, 4GB ddr3 1600mhz Cas 11, WD green 2TB all in side of a Cooler Mater Elite 120

Should be fine. I have yet to see anyone have issue with haswell xeons in any 1150 motherboards.

I give it like a 95% chance of working. You could always return the cpu if it doesn't work.
