Replacement Hard Drive issues

Go to solution Solved by matt0725,

the replacement drive may not be appearing as your D drive in windows. If you open file explorer and go to "This PC" you will see all the drives you have connected, in your case at least 2, a C drive, and something else. If your replacement drive isnt the D drive, you can change it so windows can follow the correct path again.

EDIT: @Needfuldoer beat me to it with a link and everything, damn lol

First time on the forum and a relatively inexperienced pc person. I replaced my old Seagate 1TB HDD with a WD 2TB, i successfully cloned the drives and have all my games. However, all my windows icons are gone and whenever I open my PC am met with “Location is not available; D:\Desktop is unavailable.” Its only a slight inconvienience but I was wondering if anyone had solutions, thanks.
