Question RE: LTT Et al Hack.

Hey Guys,

I am curious if anyone knows if LTT et al uses Exchange Online for their email? Its my understanding that a message with an SCR attachment was delivered (then clicked on then bad day). If Linus and friends use EXO then they can setup 2 Transport rules

1) Block Executable Attachments

2) Block Attachments with file types (Long list provided by default .scr is one of them).

3) other methods are also available

i spot checked the WAN show but its an hour long. Did they cover the details of the attachment? EXO? things like that.

Not to my recollection. IIRC they use G Suite and webmail. I haven't seen reference to anything else in their videos. Linus did note that improving their data security was already being done. But that it's big process and they had just begun with it. It wasn't not that long ago when they did discuss about how often passwords should be reset for critical systems.
