Upgrading Windows

Hi, I wanted to upgrade my windows 7 to windows 10.  Kindly let me know how to do it. This is the first time I am doing a windows upgrade. 

What are the requirements for upgrading it?

Will my data stored in pc  be deleted?

Is it possible to download windows 10 without purchasing or have an unactivated windows? If yes , then how?

Use this tool from Microsoft:

It answers all your questions. You can upgrade the PC you're using now, or download an ISO to create a DVD/USB. It can also create the USB for you.

You can also choose to keep all programs and files, really useful tool. And can always roll back to 7 later if you want.
