Ik wist dat het aan de site lag, want ik kreeg een bericht waarin stond dat de site offline was en andere pagina's laadde wel gewoon, ik heb nogsteeds last van lange laadtijden en soms dat hij helemaal niet laad...

Als je Slick volgt op Twitter (@slickpc) krijg je meestal wel statusupdates als de forum down is. Soms post linus zelf ook wel downtimes.

Aa dank je dat moest ik nog veranderen. Gelukkig dat dat niet klopt. Overklokken met stock koeler leid meestel tot een gesmolten moederbord

Kan iemand me aanraden wat de beste plek (Of de mooiste) voor een SSD is? (voor als ik er een heb) Ik zat er over na te denken om hem op m'n drive bays the schroeven/plakken. of kan ik hem beter gewoon in een HDDslot doen?

Is goed :) Ik vroeg me gewoon even af, ik heb al een paar builds gezien met de SSD op de voeding of tegen de drivebays aangeplakt, maar een HDD-slot is wel goed :D

i7 920 c0 stepping op 3.8 ghz h2o

gtx 480 sc ook h2o op 850 core 2k mem 1088mv

3x 2 gb corsair ram op 1600 mhz 9-9-9-24

samsung ssd 840

hitachi 2 tb drive

en nog een 1 tb samsung drive

 

volgens mij wordt het tijd om te upgraden volgend jaar.

Klinkt als een goede rig! volgens mij niks mis mee hoor ;) Misschien spreken de nieuwe Haswell series je wel aan.

Ja, ik moet er nog even over nadenken... Ik kan hem zichtbaar maken of juist veborgen... ik DENK dat ik heb gewoon in een HDD-slot doe, makkelijk toegangbaar als het nodig is...

mijn specs van mn "gaming rig" (slow as hell)

mobo: asus p5b (kan bijna alles aan van p4 tot c2q)

cpu: intel pentium d 945 (alias heethoofd, of 2 cedarmills op een chip, stock @3,40 hoogste oc @4.01 liep ruim honderd graden)

gpu: saphire 4830 512mb (vga hdmi dvi)

psu: coolermaster 430 watt

ram 2x512 corsair budget ram @266 + corsair xms2 @266 (pc crasht als ze op hun stock snelheid lopen 333mhz)

hdd 2x wdc 2500ks + samsung 1tb drive

asus ide dvd brander (rubbertje is versleten) lg dvd reader (leest geen windows xp)

alles in een coolermaster centurion 532

En vroeg me af of, kopen jullie nog wel eens games/software/muziek/films in een winkel zoals de Free Record Shop ?

Ik kom er zelf bijna nooit, en als ik er al kom alleen op te kijken.

 

Het is aan de ene kant wel jammer, want ik zie dit ook gebeuren met de computer winkeltjes in mijn omgeving. 2 jaar gelden zaten er nog z'n 5 á 6 en nu zijn het er nog 2 (En een mediamarkt). Want in de kleine pc zaakjes kom ik wel regelmatig, het kost dan altijd wel wat meer al je er wat koopt maar, je er altijd terecht kan met vragen en als er iets niet goed is kan je de zelfde dag nog terug.

 

Ben benieuwd hoe dat bij de rest zit.

Alle computer winkels bij ons in de buurt zijn gestopt, er is er nog wel een maar die heeft alleen maar hardware wat 4+ jaar oud is en als je iets wilt kopen gaat hij het bestellen, nou dat kan ik zelf ook + goedkoper.

 

En kwa freerecord shop etc hebben we alleen nog maar een bart smit.
