Does is actually worth use  DLSS performance mode ? A lot people say that performance mode have massive quality los. I'm cofuse now due if I use at 4K performance it still rendering at 1920x1080 that is way higher resolution than DLSS quality  at 1440p (1708x961) do it actully mean upscale better at 4K with preformance than at 1440p with quality mode ? If I'm correct understand DLSS quality is mostly depends from it's input resolution that why at 1080p it not look very good even with quality mode. Btw do is mean with DLSS game use less VRAM due game rendering at lower resolution ? From my test for example ultra performance look terrible at 1440p but then I try ultra performance in 4K it still look pretty decent.

Go as low as you can before it gets annoying to you. Each to his own preference.

Performance objectively looks worse but some people don't mind and rather take the higher FPS.

I personally can play Warzone 2 with DLSS Performance and don't find it very distracting but in many other games I find DLSS distracting even on Quality... Witcher 3 for example.

Does DLSS quality depends from what input resolution it have ? Higher native resolution mean higher input resolution even with lower modes.

For example at 8K even ultra preformance will have probably higher input resolution than native 1440p

I not sure if it depends on game but in Hogwarts Legacy at 4K it look very good at performance not see noticeable difference even compared with native but it coudl be due I play at 4K TV and sit far away from screen compared PC monitor.

The resolution the game is rendered at (input resolution) depends on the output resolution and the DLSS quality you select.

The higher the input resolution, the better the reconstruction/quality
