So I'm using Nvidia GeForce Experience to monitor my GPU and in idle the MHz is the normal advertised MHz, which is 1708Mhz.

Problem is, when I open a game. Doesn't matter what game it is...

The MHz drops to 200-400 MHz. I lose over 1000 MHz ??? Shouldn't be normal.

Idle should be 200-400, 1708MHz is base clock.

What is the performance like? If you have low clocks in games it should be also quite bad experience. Otherwise the reported clocks are just wrong.

Well yeah I have tons of stutters, most games are completely unplayable and the games that are still playable I can only play at the worst settings possible at 720p and I still get stutters and fps drops below 60

Can you give an example of a game? Also which GPU and CPU do you have and what does the % usage look like during gameplay?

Tower of Fantasy, most of the time completely unplayable. In combat fps drops below 20 at lowest settings.

Fortnite, fps consistently below 60 with stutters below 40 in fights.

League of Legends, mostly around 90 fps but after couple matches fps drops to to 45 ish.

Paladins, fps quite frequently below 50 on lowest.

I can't even bother trying to test medium settings in any game. Barely runs at very low 720p.

But what CPU and GPU you have? Knowing RAM as well may help too (not just total amount in GB but do you have 1 stick, 2 sticks, what speed?).

I depends on game if your GPU way way too powerful for old game in never run at max clock until you not uncap FPS and not push thousands FPS that is probably not even possible due you get bottleneck by CPU anyway.

That's not the case here my GPU is way toooooo weak for any video game.
