I've never had any issues with M.2 drives overheating, it's not really a concern for us regular folks unless you're doing something really crazy involving data transfers.

 

Yes, the SSD will come with the required mounting screw.

My HP laptop has an M.2 port and I don't know whether it is NVMe or SATA, how do I find out? And no, there is no documentation online for my model.

Do I have to worry about M.2 SSDs overheating? My laptop would have almost no airflow considering its thickness and position of the fan.

This one's stupid, but they come with the screw required to attach them right?
