i have a prebuild hp pc i need to upgrade

i need help with picking a cpu that can run star citizen on the recomended specs
without switching motherbord got any ides?

IRL isnt like  PC Building Simulator, its never as easy as opening games requirement, compare to what you have, and thats it.

 

It would be pretty great to know what your specific HP PC here, but your upgrade is pretty much limited to 8700. 8086K existed but that thing is on really limited production and probably wont be inside of HPs CPU QVL (Qualified Vendor List, HP's tested and verified list of working parts for their systems).
