Recently, I have updated windows on my dual booted machine, when upon turning it on white lines appeared on screen. one logged in to windows, it shows error 43 on dev mgr.

I have disabled the device and started using integrated graphics, but am unaware of any previous errors with the card, it just stopped working.

I have tried clean install drivers through geforce experience and such nvidia installers, but ot no avail.

My 2080 ti doesn't even show up in task manager and can't open nvidia control panel.

If anyone knows a fix for this it is appreciated, since my gpu is fairly new ( < 3 years) out of the box.

PC specs:

intel i9-10850K

64GB ddr4 ram

ASUS NVIDIA 2080TI

512gb m.2 ssd + 2tb hdd

dual boot windows + fedora

That's very strange. Does your issue occur when the GPU is installed into a different PCI-E slot?

Just tried a minute ago. If my hdmi is connected to the motherboard, then it doesn't happen and switches to intel integrated graphics, but if HDMI is connected to GPU then the graphical issues appear. (Same behavior on both PCI-E slots)

Kind of sad TBH, hopefully someone knows if this can be fixed somehow

Sounds like either a GPU or driver issue, but maybe someone else here knows more.

Have you tried the other Output ports on the GPU? Like, Display Port or DVI?
