Ok so I didnt get help to this problem from Tek Syndicate so I ask it here.

When I play games, I usually can play for less than a minute and then my screen goes black and it says: "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered". I have tried many drivers and only driver that has worked to for me is 331.18. I would really like to get newer drivers and Shadowplay, but whenever I try to install new drivers they just crash. Note that I was able to overclock my gpu and everything with 331.18, so it is not that I have faulty PSU or something. Things that I have tried:

Updating Windows, Graphics card, mobo, etc.

Reinstalling drivers

Removing drivers with driver uninstaller

Reinstalling Windows

Modifying drivers

Prefering maximum performance from Nvidia control panel

Deleting antivirus programs

The weird thing is that my friend has this same exact problem and he has Windows 8.1 too and GTX 770.

PC specs:
i7 4770k 4.3 ghz
ASUS GTX 780 OC´d
ASUS z87 A mobo
Noctua NH-u12s
Zalman Z11
2 x 1tb hdd + 60 gb SSD
8 gb 1600 mhz RAM
Fractal design psu 750w
Win 8.1

I am pretty desperate at this point so I appreciate any feedback

Does the fact that my Windows is not activated effect at any way to this?

No. Depending on where you bought the card, you should return/exchange it with the retailer or Asus.
