Please recommend a PSU that fits the build, preferably fully modular and keeps the cost of the build below £675. Moreover, would be nice if the minimum wattage is 650W for future proofing in case I later buy a GPU.

If you really wanna gear it hard for upgradability id say go full swing. You can go back up to 5700G but realistically both performs samey in games that it doesnt matter, youd wanna switch out anyway. An upgrade package for this PC would just be a used 5700X or 5800X3D once they dropped in price, and used 6800XT. You could do 7900XTX and 5800X3D but i dont have a lot of info on how safe that combo is on stock settings with 750W PSU, so you might need to do some downvolt tweaks.

Msi TUF 650W Power supply should be fine for this build if you are in budget.  It's design is good.. Overall components are decent..

If you can expand your budget...

Deepcool DQ750M Gold v2 should be considered . As it's well priced and design is modern and components are of good quality...

Aprecciate the suggestions. Thanks to everyone for the ideas, will make a decision based on everyone's ideas, also another question based on the assumption I buy a 5700x , what's a decent budget air CPU cooler for about 30-40 quid(will gladly take any suggestions!) also can I get a decent 3060 for 350 quid?

Oh so you could get a GPU in? Nice!

Personally in this case id buy 5600 non X instead as that would be enough for games right now and then get 5800X3D in terms of upgrade path. And yeah in a month market changed A LOT so you really shouldve remake this thread to get an update on pricing and new deals. From what i gather from this comments its safe to assume youve expanded the budget to 1000 pounds?

About 950 pounds. yh. Was able to make some savings on stuff like the PSU as the old PSU I was looking at had gone crazy in terms of price (Corsair rmx650). Was able to save like 40 pounds using a nzxt alternative, and some birthday money sprinkled in boosts my budget a bit, my most up to date list: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/DeathHawk06/saved/cssqHx
