Hello everyone,

I have a very weird issue with my Xbox One S.

It's not major, I'm still able to use it fine, however, my disk drive button, and my power button don't produce any sound when clicked (like it should.)

I find that when the console is fully shut down, unplugged, replugged, and cold-started, it plays their respective sounds. However after that, it doesn't play any sound.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Like the console itself doesn't play any sounds or the game doesn't play any sounds because if it's the console then it's just because of Xbox's software update and shouldn't be that big of a deal but if it's no game audio you're talking about then there might be a problem either with how audio is being transmitted over you're HDMI cable so I think you should use a different one but if it's not that then I hate to say that their might be a problem with your external speakers or TV speakers. Lets hope it's the former

It's just a minor problem that bugs me, all audio from games and stuff is perfectly fine, it's just the physical buttons on the console don't play any sound (like the startup sound when you startup the console.)

That might be a setting in your settings because I just saw it in mine yesterday

This wouldn't be the case as the sound for power on and disc eject come from the console and not the TV and I don't think there are any settings that change that.

Yeah I can't find find any setting related to that.

It's weird because the sounds will play from cold boot (after unplugging the power cord) but they'll never play again after that.
