Odd boot loop situation

System info:

Windows 10 21H2

Mobo: gigabyte z370 aorus ultra gaming cf

CPU: i5-8600k

Gpu: gtx 970

Memory: Corsair dominator 3200, 32gb duel channel

 

The issue:

When I put my computer to sleep or hibernate, when I come back to it in an unspecified amount off time, my PC has turned itself back on, and is completely frozen at the lock screen. When I try to hard reboot, it gets stuck in a boot loop, where it reboots every time it hits the dram check. If I pull one stick of ram out, it boots, and runs just fine. If I reinstall the stick, everything seems normal. Ive done this with both sticks, so I don't think it's bad ram or ram slots. I have not been able to re create the problem yet, it seems to happen at random.

sleep/hibernation under windows is broken. 

 

get yourself a SSD install windows on it and shut down and start your pc as normal.
