But if you can change it to anything you want when you have 500 posts, then the member name won't really have a value anymore, right? Well, I guess you could always look at the post count, for that matter.

Well it's pretty cool if you have your own member title, no? For instance ericlee30 changed his member title to Batman (my idea actually)  :D

I've seen people reach that goal on less popular forums within 2 to 3 years. 28 posts/day and you'll make it in just under a year.

I can't tell you how many times I've been lead astray by something like that. We

use the apostrophe (') as a thousands separator (so: 10'000), and either the dot

or the comma as a decimal point, so it's not even completely consistent within our

small country, let alone internationally.

There's a section in a Wiki article on this (link), so this confusion seems to have

existed for quite a while.

In any case, 10.000 is actually legitimate for 10000, depending on where you're

from.
