Need help on vmware, vm resolution is scuffed

Hello. I need help on vmware when installing elementary OS (linux). When I boot into the install environment, my resolution is so low it cannot display stuff properly. I've attached a screenshot with my problem. Can anyone please help? Thanks.

You most likely need to install the VM tools for that version of linux. It's also noted that elematryOS requires the VM to be in UEFI mode. For the resolution to be correct.

 

You can change that in the advanced settings of the VM.

the os is not currently installed, this is the cd boot environment so I cannot install vm tools. I will tho try to see if it's in UEFI. Thanks a lot!
