SLOW SSD 100 MBits

Hey I have a problem I have 2 Sandisk plus SSDs in a Raid1 with a Raid Controller because it was with the server. The raid controller is an hp smart array p420 with the cache module, I tried it with other SSDs, but I have no problems with that, does anyone have an idea what could be the reason? I use Proxmox as the operating system

Are SSDs empty? If not, you might be running out of SLC cache.

have you checked that the cache module battery is ok?

you can get a ton of erroneous errors and odd behaviour if the battery needs replacement.

Thanks for the quick responses. Regarding the battery, I should actually see that in HP's ILO, right? there are no errors to be seen.

In the settings of the raid controller there are no errors to be seen no SMART errors nothing even if I connect the SSD to another PC they are very slow are also only 2 months old everything worked only since today I have the problem

maybe a very silly question but are you running the SSDs closeto their full capacity ? 

Any SSD if almost maxxxed out will have a serious issue of degraded speeds.

but 12.5MB per sec when under normal cricumstances a single drive should be capable of the 400 range it sounds like a hardware issue.

If the data on those SSDs is not critical try scrubbing them completely and then retest them one at a time to check that they are operating properly.

if one of the two is bad it will mess up the results as one good one will not compensate for the other.
