Modded Minecraft

so i wanna play modded minecraft like, all the mods and direwolf 20 but my pc cant seem to handle it. 

 

my specs are 

ryzen 5 3600

32 gb ram

rtx 2060 6gb 

 

i have turned the ram up to 16 gb so that shouldnt be a problem

in atm i cant even load into the map before it crashes 

and in direwolf i cant get more than 40 fps even then its laggy

This would be considered normal as modifying minecraft typically leads to unstable performance regardless of pc configuration. The more mods you add the more unstable games tend to be.

If youve applied a bunch of mods non incrementally and haven't configured the settings to be optimized on your hardware , then crashes and bad performance would be expected.

one thing i would recommend is dont go out buying more hardware assuming modded minecraft will run better.

might also depend on

- the version of minecraft your modding

- some mods clash with others so cant be used together anyway

- i know nothing about direwolf

 

think the best i ever got was

minecraft java version 1.12.1 / 1.12.2 + 19 mods in 8 gig's of ram in 2 player local lan

- machine 1 was a ryzen 5 3400G with 16 gig ram

- machine 2 was an AM3+ 8 core with 16 gig ram

after mods loaded i think we had 1 gig of ram to play with
