Hey everyone,

Im having some issues with a nas build and I think it's the ethernet but Im not sure,

Its also my first build ever.

So I followed Linus' jonsbo n1 guide with some different components, and I installed truenass on an SSD on my laptop since I didn't buy a GPU. Whenever I boot from this drive on my laptop the truenass pops up in the network browser, so at least I know the os is working on that drive. However, when I connect the drive to the nas instead , it never shows up on the network and the light on the ethernet port blinks in one of the no-connection modes. How do I fix?

I guess I'll have to get a GPU and into the BIOS and check if there is some special setting to connect to Ethernet? Or could it be something else? How do I update the BIOS if necessary? And is there any chance to avoid buying the gpu?

Maybe one or more of the questions sound stupid but hey first timer

Thanks!

Motherboard: rog b660-i

SSD Kingston 250gb

What CPU do you have in the NAS?
