If it’s only the Ethernet with no Wi-Fi, I guess that’ll solve the problem if I dint connect the Ethernet. Does having Ethernet means the motherboard still has the ability to connect to the Wi-Fi, even if I don’t connect it to any Wi-Fi myself?

I was hacked and the hacker could still get in without the laptop connected to the Wi-Fi.

Not having any sort of connection to the internet is going to be extremely limiting. Aside from the obvious stuff like no browsing or email, all software will have to be installed and updated using a USB drive or optical disk if you include an optical drive. Printers will have to be directly connected. Some software requires an internet connection for activation or runtime license verification. Those packages will not be installable/useable on the system.

WiFi can be disabled in the BIOS of motherboards that have WiFi.
