hello!

im having this weird issue where PC will shut off with no warning after gaming a little bit on max setting (Only with games that can push GPU, doesn't happen to lower end games and it doesn't randomly shutdown for anything else except gaming at max setting). Temp looks good, System detected unknown shutdown but didn't provide a specific error. my only guess is it is possible that aging PSU be the problem because it is 8 year old... One more thing to mention, this issue started after swapping from 2060 Super to A770 16gig... like i said i think PSU may be getting old that is unable to handle the just a little more load... what your thoughts?

Certainly possible. I'd test it to be sure.

I don't badmouth others' input, I'd appreciate others not badmouthing mine. *** More below ***

Did you use a program like DDU to uninstall the Nvidia drivers before you installed the Intel card?

It could be a driver confliction if you never removed the Nvidia drivers. That PSU should be able to power the card no problem but if it is that old, it's more than a possibility. I'd say testing a different PSU won't hurt.

I did DDU before swapping over. it works without any issues except in case where i game on max setting for a period of time.. like a hour. so i was thinking PSU could be an issues. but i can say EVGA had some rock-solid PSU in my opinion. lasted 8 year and could power almost everything even at OC state... i just think the PSU is getting to the point where it not stable with pulling 600-700 watt...
